Week 3.2 Totem Poles & Telling Stories

Over the next few weeks, the children are undertaking the project of creating their now totem tales!  Each child chooses two animals, creates the story about the two animals and then to paper mache, paint and assemble their totem poles.

Mila's Story:  The dog and the bear jumped over the hill together because its much more fun than just jumping by yourself.  They are going back home and they will meet again tomorrow to play together.

Ryleigh's Story: The Elephant and the rooster are walking together going to the library to find some books.  They play and read books together.

Paxton's Story:  A rhino and a bear met at the zoo and they didn’t know each others names so they asked each other.  Lamon was the rhino and Damon was the bear.  They decided they wanted to leave the zoo and go out to the city but the zoo keeper found them and brought them back.  But then they tried again and they escaped again- now they are friends who play together in the forest. (the wolf at Creative Minds ran away, so Paxton chose a rhino instead).

Kesler's Story:  An elephant and a zebra drink water together in the jungle.  It's okay that the elephant is bigger.  Water is for everyone.

Damon's Story:  Moose bumped his head on the tree that owl was in.  They are in the forest.  The moose said I'm sorry.  The owl was mad and said that's why he can't fly.

Cameron's Story:  The cow jumped over the turtle to get to the farm because he couldn't wait for the turtle.  The turtle was too slow and the cow was in a hurry to go back home.
