This week we discussed different ways that we can decorate our bodies. We took turns looking at each other one by one. All of the children described the decorations that they had on their clothing, such as sparkles, batman picture, colours, and "frillies." I was wearing a necklace, "felt pen" around my eyes, and a ring. We passed around my ring and talked about whether or not it was decoration. Here are their thoughts:
The ring makes your finger look nicer
The ring is shiny so it's a decoration
I see your hand better with the ring on
The children made their own beads and created necklaces and bracelets as gifts.
